What Is Thai massage?
Thai Massage is an ancient art of body therapy for healing, health, and transformation. Using yoga postures as a model for the possibilities of applied stretching in conjunction with deep tissue massage, the client is passive while the therapist moves from head to toe, front and back massaging muscles and applying deep stretches, leans and compressions to the client.Through gentle pressure along energy lines, the client's body begins to open and regain flexibility and ease of movement, while the mind gently returns to calm alertness. The effect is uniquely relaxing as well as energizing.

Who receives Thai Massage?
This ancient therapy is beneficial for young, old, active or inactive, athletes, yogis and yoginis. Thai massage has been used for countless generations to treat degenerative conditions and promote wellness and has also been proven to help those who suffer from fibromyalgia, arthritis and ms.

What to Expect from your Thai Massage Session:
Sessions typically last two hours and are performed on a floor mat with the client dressed in comfortable loose clothing. Muscle compression, joint mobilization and acupressure are applied. With these techniques, space is created within the muscskeletal structure and the body begins to open up and regain flexibility and ease of movement. Toxins are released from the joints, muscles, connective tissue. You will experience a deep massage that transforms the body to a more flexible, relaxed, lighter, energized being.
